Guam Customs seizes 5g ice allegedly from Taiwan

TAIPEI: Guam Customs and Quarantine Agency officers at the A.B. Won Pat Guam International Airport Authority on Thursday seized 5 grams of ice allegedly brought in from Taiwan.

Officers have forwarded the case to the Office of the Attorney General.

According to Customs, officers detained a 26-year-old passenger, Yu-Lang Lin, who was arriving in Guam on a flight from Taipei Thursday morning.

A search found alleged drug paraphernalia in a checked bag and officers reportedly later found about 5 grams of methamphetamine on Lin.

Customs estimated the value of the seized drugs at about $2,500.
