FAISALABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the Punjab government was utilizing all available resources to facilitate the people of the province.
Addressing a ceremony during a visit and inspection of Gattwala Canal Express Way here on Saturday, he said that number of uplift projects have been initiated across the province to bring development and prosperity.
He said that Gattwala Canal Express Way was a 3-lane project with length of 27 kilometers and it would be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 16 billion.
The chief minister said that the completion of Canal Express Way would not only promote the trade, business, industrial, import and export activities in and around Faisalabad but also create employment opportunities.
Later, he also inaugurated the construction of Punjab Bio-energy Institute and a girls’ hostel at University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF).
