SIALKOT: Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has urged the government to establish sports goods, leather and surgical instruments cities to encourage the small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Talking to media, SCCI Senior Vice President Mian Muhammad Anwar said that despite poor law & order problems and continued energy crisis, Sialkot – Pakistan’s biggest sports goods manufacturer city – was earning more than $1.6 billion per annum and strengthening the national exchequer.
Mian Anwar said the sports goods, leather and surgical instruments cities would not only help increase the export volume, but also facilitate business community and SMEs under one roof.
