Lahore: Vice President of All Pakistan Paper Merchants Association and Founder of Kite Flying Festival in Pakistan Khawaja Nadeem Saeed Wayeen has welcomed Punjab government plan to celebrate Kite Flying Festival at a dedicated site near Changa Manga and termed it a morale-boosting decision at right time and in right direction.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Khawaja Nadeem Wayeen said that the decision shows the vision of the Punjab government as permission for kite flying far from the populated areas would certainly save precious human lives on one hand while attract a large number tourists on the other hand. He said that establishment of Kite Flying Zone at Changa Manga and announcement to celebrate Kite Flying Festival in spring season by the Provincial Minister Rana Mashood Ali Khan would not only give new life to the tourism industry but would also give boost to the Punjab economy.
