KARACHI: The commercial Transit Trade to Afghanistan has been increased during the first quarter of the current fiscal year ended October 31.
The import of commodities as fabric, cooking oil, tires, used bicycles and sundry goods has increased substantially during the same period.
Transit under the Afghan Transit Trade shows over 44 percent increase in various kinds of fabric; a massive 190 percent increase in cooking oil while tyres 52 percent, used bicycles a mammoth 1,850 percent and sundry goods comprising perfumes, shampoos, tiles, socks, garments, padlocks, CDs, DVD-R showed 286 percent rise.
