ISLAMABAD: The negotiations between the commerce ministry and the Pakistan Banaspati Ghee Manufacturers succeeded on Saturday with the manufacturers being ready to lower the price of ghee by Rs8-10 per kilogramme. The meeting observed that suspending ‘excel load policy’ has reduced delivery costs of ghee, and its benefit would reach the general public in terms of reducing the price of ghee. Advisor to the Prime Minister on Trade Abdul Razaq Dawood said that the price has been reduced due to suspension of the excel load policy. “In accordance with the commitment made with the premier, the price of ghee has been reduced,” Mr Dawood said.
