KARACHI: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Acting President Shaukat Ahmed has expressed the concerns of business community over the prevailing fragile business environment, which is impeding investment in the country.
He said that the business community of Pakistan was suffering due to the repercussion of the current law and order situation including sit-ins in Islamabad. Ahmed said that the drastic cling in investment would ultimately stop commercial activities in the countries which would create joblessness and law and order deterioration. “Pakistan is severely facing growing poverty due to lack of investable funds and transformation of policies. The present government has formulated various polices but, unfortunately, due to political uncertainty, most of them are not yet implemented.”
