Finnish e-invoicing and purchase-to-pay (P2P) solutions provider Basware has signed an agreement with a major North American health care corporation. The deal with the unnamed company is worth approximately 2.9 million euros over five years. As part of the deal the customer will transition to Alusta, Basware’s unified cloud-based platform for P2P. Furthermore, the corporation is to utilise Basware Analytics, enabling reviewing and approving of P2P invoices easily, regardless of time and place.
“The customer processes approximately 1.5 million invoices annually,” explains Esa Tihilä, CEO of Basware Corporation. “Basware solutions enable them to cut costs and complexity and quickly switch to 100 per cent paperless invoicing. They will gain spending transparency to help make better financial decisions. At the same time they can experience the true benefit of connected global commerce via the Basware Commerce Network, an open network that allows buyers and suppliers of all sizes to collaborate and trade.”
