HELSINKI: Finnish building systems services provider Caverion is to deliver ventilation, air conditioning and electricity solutions, as well as information and communications services to Segerstedthuset, the new office building of Uppsala University in Sweden.
A 5.4 million-euro contract was signed between the company and general contractor NCC covering project management and execution. With a total floor area of 22 100 m2, the building is set to house 600 office workers, including the university’s management and administration.
“When completed, Segerstedthuset will be a modern office building with intelligent and user-friendly technical solutions that provide a comfortable work environment for employees, students and visitors alike,” says Thomas Jansson, District Manager at Caverion Sweden. The building is slated for completion in spring 2017.
