HELSINKI: According to Statistics the Finland Producer prices for manufactured products decreased by 0.8 per cent in March 2015 from the year before.
The producer prices for manufactured products sold on the domestic market declined by 1.2 per cent, while the producer prices of export products fell by 0.3 per cent. Producer prices for manufactured products went down especially due to reductions in the prices of oil products, chemicals and chemical products, and iron and steel from last year’s March.
The fall in producer prices was slowed down especially by higher prices of paper and paper board products. The export price index fell by 0.2 per cent and the import price index by 4.2 per cent in the year. The Basic Price Index for Domestic Supply went down by 2.2 per cent while the Basic Price Index for Domestic Supply including taxes fell by 1.8 per cent.
