FAISALABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has nabbed a superintendent of Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCo) red-handed for taking the bribe.
According to details, accused Abdul Ghaffar received Rs 300,000 as bribe from a person namely Bashir against the job appointment of his nephew in FESCO breaching the merit of department.
Federal Investigation Agency conduct raid on tip-off and arrested the FESCO Superintendent Abdul Ghaffar.
Talking to Customs Today officials said that agency was taking effective measure to eliminate the corruption in the society. They added that appointment of incompetent people through illegal means causing corruption and losses to national economy besides damaging the reputation of departments.
