HYDERABAD: A number of non-duty paid and smuggled vehicles are still plying the roads in different regions of Hyderabad.
In this regard, the Model Customs Collectorate of Hyderabad has suggested an amnesty scheme for vehicles’ regulation to give immunity to those who have not yet paid the token tax and duty tax of the vehicle to achieve the target.
The MCC Hyderabad hoped to achieve the revenue target up to some extent. The collectorate urged the FBR to take serious measures and announce a vehicle amnesty scheme to encourage people to register their vehicle or pay duty/token tax at the earliest.
