ISLAMABAD: The negotiations between Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and traders’ representatives on the issue of non-filer traders finished without any results.
According to the sources, meeting was held here in FBR headquarters in which FBR Inland Revenue-Policy (IR-Policy) Member Shahid Husain represented the income tax wing, IR-Operations Member Ashraf Khan represented sales tax, while Parliamentary Secretary for Finance Afzal Khan and Member FATE Nadeem Dar were also present on the occasion.
Sources added that both traders and FBR members did not budge from their respective stances and talked ended without reaching an agreement. The next round of talks will start next week.
