MULTAN: The Federal Board of Revenue has directed customs inspectors to submit complete annual confidential report (ACR) to the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for promotion.

Sources told Customs Today that the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has issued instructions that all Customs Inspectors should finalize their missing annual confidential report for promotion cases within given timeline. Several Customs Inspectors from Multan were deprived from promotion and upgradation in the Departmental Promotion committee meeting due to delay in submission of annual confidential report.

The Federal Board of Revenue has directed all customs inspectors to submit their annual confidential report on time to avoid any kind of hindrance.

Customs inspectors have started completing their ACRs up to date after the directions of Federal Board of Revenue, so that exercise of promotion can be finalized within the given time as per available record.

Sources told that the majority of customs inspectors submitted their ACRs every year on time but few of them had not been able to submit their report due to the limited deadline and they were also denied promotions in the Departmental Promotion Committee. Now customs inspectors are completing their ACRs to avoid any delay.
