ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has expressed deep regret over the sad and untimely demise of Dr Muhammad Zubair Yousfani, a BS-20 officer of Pakistan Customs Service.
At the time of his death, the officer was posted as Project Director (ITTMS), Customs Wing, Federal Board of Revenue (HQ), Islamabad. Dr Muhammad Zubair Yousfani was born on February 6, 1963. He started his career from the erstwhile Customs & Excise Group as Assistant Collector on October 31, 1992. The officer served at various important positions during his illustrious career spanning over a period of more than 25 years including FBR (HQ) and various field formations of Customs and Sales Tax department.
The deceased was a thorough professional with profound reputation of diligent and hard working officer having complete command over Customs and Sales Tax laws and procedures.
The FBR appreciated the dedicated services rendered by the deceased to the department as well as to the country. In expressing its grief on his untimely death, the Board conveyed its heartiest condolences to all members of the bereaved family and his friends, praying, “May his soul rest in eternal peace and may Allah Almighty give patience and fortitude to them to bear this irreparable loss.”
