FBR employees action committee demands resumption of performance allowance

ISLAMABAD: The All Pakistan Federal Board of Revenue Employees Action Committee (APFBRAC) has threatened the federal government that the employees will go on a strike if their performance allowance is not resumed.
According to details, the action committee has sent a letter to the Finance Minister, demanding not only 100 percent increase in the performance allowance, but also resumption of the allowance which has been frozen in the current budget.
Sources added that the action committee has written a letter to the Finance Minister, reminding him his promise that the allowance for the employees will be resumed but nothing has been done so far.
The committee has now threatened that if their demands are not accepted in seven days then they will stop working until their demands are fulfilled. Sources added that the FBR will send a summery in this regard soon.
