KARACHI: Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Tariq Bajwa will arrive in Karachi today to hold meetings with customs officials.
According to the sources, the FBR chief during his visit to Karachi will hold marathon spell of meetings with the high officers of Model Customs Collectorate (MCCs) of Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Appraisement-East, Appraisement-West, Directorate of Transit Trade, Directorate of Customs Valuation, Enforcement (South Region), Directorate of Reforms and Automation and MCC-Export.
The sources further informed Customs Today that the FBR chief will take detailed briefing from the authorities concerned on daily affairs and will provide new guidelines for future to achieve revenue targets.
“The high officers of Pakistan Customs on Saturday prepared their detailed briefing which they will present before FBR chief on Monday”, they added.
