ISLAMABAD: Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Tariq Mehmood Pasha will give personal hearing to the suspended inspector of Customs Collectorate Quetta Shahzada Amir.
According to the details the suspended inspector appealed to chairman FBR and pleaded that he is innocent and the findings of the inquiry report are not correct.
Chairman FBR has decided to give him a last chance to prove his innocence and approved his request for personal hearing.
It is pertinent to mention here that Inspector Shahzada Amir was suspended on the charges of corruption, mis-conduct and inefficiency and later after completion of investigation, inquiry committee found him guilty and recommended to FBR to impose penalty.
The Federal Board of Revenue imposed major penalty on him including removal from service and compulsory retirement.
He was appealed to Member Administration Ms. Tasneem Rehman but he could not prove innocence and she hold the decision of major penalty.
Now the chairman FBR is the final authority and last forum where he can prove his innocence. Chairman directed him to bring all the evidence and documents along with him on hearing day.
