FAISALABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement collected Rs1528.81 million during the month of November 2017 against the assigned target of Rs 1665.44 million by surpassing it by 95 percent.
The Customs Appraisement collected revenue under the heads of customs duty (CD) sales tax (ST) income tax (IT) and federal excise duty (FED) during the above said period.
According to the statistics available data with Customs Today, Customs Appraisement collected Rs 421.08 million as customs duty against the set target of Rs 412.468 million.
The Collectorate surpassed the target set for sale tax by Rs 89 percent as it collected Rs 1102.955 million against the set target of Rs 1235.15 million.
While it collected Rs13.350 millions in wake of income tax during the above said period against the set target of Rs 9.12 million and surpassed the target by 146 percent. It collected Rs 0.038 million under wake of federal excise duty (FED).
Customs Appraisement Superintendent Rana Mukhtar Ahmed says that the department already issued notices to a number of tax defaulters in recent months asking them to clear outstanding tax dues at the earliest to avoid stern action.
