LAHORE: Trade between Pakistan and India through land freight unit Wagah Border will remain suspended for two days because of the Pakistan Defence Day.
The Land Freight Unit will remain closed on September 5 (Saturday) and September 6 (Sunday). No truck will cross the international border during these two days.
Trade volume between two rival neighboring countries is already very low and it is becoming low day by day since last six months because of the Modi government’s policies and bitter relations between the rivals.
On the other hand, the Pakistan Rangers will hold a special flag hoisting ceremony at Wagha Border in which thousands of citizens will participate. Security in these two days will remain tightened at Wagha Border and nearby areas.
