KARACHI: Customs staff Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) under the dynamic command of Deputy Collector Customs Inamullah Wazir made 5 important seizures in the last few days. In two of the cases a novel method of concealment was used.
In the first case customs staff posted at General Post Office I.I Chundrigar Road Karachi affected a seizure of 400 grams of meth amphetamine skillfully concealed in wooden showpieces. The seized goods were being smuggled from Pakistan to New Zealand. Investigation is in progress.
In the second case staff deputed at Express Mail Service, Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi affected a seizure of 16.10 kilograms of unstitched cloth soaked with heroin.
