ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has directed the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) to achieve its quarterly revenue target for the month of July to September 2015.
According to the credible sources, the finance ministry has set a target of Rs 647 billion for the first quarter of fiscal year 2015. Ishaq Dar has also directed that no extension will be given to non-filers. Non- filers have to submit their tax returns until September 30.
Sources added that the installment of Rs 550 million to the International Monetary Fund depends on the achievement of the revenue target for the first quarter.
