COPENHAGEN: Maersk Drilling has announced that ConocoPhillips Norway has signed a contract extension for the jackup rig Maersk Innovator (built 2002) for work on the Eldfisk field, offshore Norway.
The new contract, valued at around $142m, is for a period of 16 months and begins when the current contract expires in February 2017. “We are very pleased to see the Maersk Innovator continue to work for ConocoPhillips,” commented Claus Hemmingsen, CEO of Maersk Drilling.
