MULTAN: The Customs Service Tribunal asked the Customs Intelligence and Investigation to appear in court along with employees’ record for further proceedings in a case pretaining to the transfer of three employees from Multan to Islamabad.
Multan Customs Intelligence Superintendent Siraaj Malik along with two inspectors Hamid Habib and Tariq Mehmood filed the appeal in the Customs Services Tribunal against their transfer.
All three employees have argued that their services were spotless throughout the career so the tribunal should cancel their transfer. The tribunal adjourned the hearing until March 3, 2015.
The Customs Service Tribunal will decide about their transfer appeal in the light of their service record and in this regard the tribunal has directed the department to ensure their presence on next hearing to present the record.
