KARACHI: The Directorate General of Customs Intelligence and Investigation announced holding auction of confiscated vehicles and other goods on September 10 (Wednesday).
The auction will be held at CPF Bond Warehouse Rasheedabad, SWH.
According to a notification issued here, the confiscated vehicles and goods are lying at the warehouse of the Directorate of Intelligence and Investigations, Karachi.
The vehicles to be put up for auction include Mercedes Benz Car (Model 1998), Toyota Corolla (Model 1991), Toyota Crown (Model 1997) and Mercedes Benz (Model 1994).
In addition to the vehicles, miscellaneous goods will also be put up for auction including 175 kgs of Art Silk Cloth (foreign origin), 45 sets of old & used audio CD/cassettes players; 38 bundles or 3,490 kgs of Ladies Art Silk cloth and 6 cartons of generators spare parts, electronic goods as per Inv; 30 numbers Tyres (new) and 150 numbers of tyres old and used, Mobile chargers, accessories & Misc. goods as per list and as per Inv.
Moreover, 49 numbers old and used tyres Assorted Brand, 71 pcs Phone V (slightly used) China; 13 pcs Phone IV (slightly used) China; 15 pcs Phone S-III (slightly used) China; 3 pcs Samsung Galaxy S-III (slightly used) China; 2 pcs HTC (slightly used) China, 516 bags (37,924 kgs) Black Tea, 696 bags (49,439 kgs) Black Tea, 39 bags (2,418 kgs) Black Tea, 34 bags (2,312 kgs) Black Tea, 20 bags 2,312 kgs Black Tea, 409 bags (27,403 kgs) Black Tea of Iran origin (Tea Dust), 97 Rolls (2,745 kgs) plastic coated aluminium foil, 215 Pcs, Woolen carpets made in India and 69 Pcs Samsung LED are also to be put up for auction.
