ISLAMABAD: The Customs North region has surpassed revenue target of customs duty (CD) with extra amount of Rs300 million against allocated collection target for month of October 2020.
According to details the North region comprises Collectorate of Customs Islamabad, Peshawar, Sialkot and Gilgit Baltistan) showed satisfactory performance during July to October 2020 and has earned Rs15854 million during July to October 2020 under all tax heads.
The document showed that the Customs North region earned Rs6671 million under head of Customs Duty (CD) while during month of October the north collected Rs300 million extra revenue under head of CD, the North was allocated Rs2100 million while it earned Rs.2404 million under head of CD.
The north earned Rs6271 million under head of ST (Sales Tax) during July to October 2020 while it earned Rs.2348 million under same head during month of October 2020.
It earned Rs.2817 million under head of WHT (withholding tax) during July to October 2020 whereas the North received Rs.1006 million under same head during month of October 2020.
The North received Rs.95 million under head of FED (federal excise duty) whereas it earned Rs.26 million under same head during month of October 2020.
