KARACHI: The Directorate General of Internal Audit Customs has eventually succeed to get countrywide access of online Post Clearance Audit (PCA) Module and its data-base which is to be maintained by PRAL, Islamabad, it is learnt here.
Sources confirmed Customs Today that the FBR has allowed the authorities concerned of the Directorate General of Internal Audit Customs to get countrywide access of the PCA Module in order to detect/pointed out revenue recoveries.
Appreciating the said step by the FBR, the sources said that this development will certainly help the Directorate to make appropriate revenue recoveries through audit para with a view to increase the national exchequer.
They further said that the Director General (DG) Internal Audit-Customs Rubina Wasti has made all-out efforts in order to get countrywide online access to the PCA Module.
“This has only been done by the tireless efforts of the Director General-Internal Audit (Customs) Rubina Wasti,” sources said adding that the DG has also been making efforts to get the access of WeBOC, automated system of Pakistan Customs for makes the working of Directorate General more effective.
It is pertinent to mention here that the DG Internal Audit-Customs Rubina Wasti has already revealed Customs Today that she was making efforts in getting access of PCA Module and WeBOC and the Directorate will get the access of WeBOC, automated system in next few days.
