ISLAMABAD: Customs collectorate Peshawar’s Hazara customs station collected month wise revenue collection in the shape of customs duty, sales tax and federal excise duty, including additional taxes from July to June 2015-16 amounting to Rs 1,493.28 million.
According to details, the Hazara customs station collected Rs 505.71 million as customs duty, Rs 40.09 million as sales tax, Rs 53.57 million as federal excise duty, Rs 260.60 million as additional income tax and Rs 637.00 million as surcharges and duties.
Sources of Customs Peshawar said that during the month of June in financial year 2015-16 Hazara station collected customs duty of Rs16.98, sales tax Rs 29.49 million, AIV Rs 10.56 millions, FED Rs 2.0 million ,the total collection was Rs59.03 million.
On the other hand Hazara station collected Rs121 million during moth of May 2016 from which Rs 39.54 million were collected as income tax , Rs 0.04 million as sales tax, AIV Rs 22.08 millions, FED Rs 4.27 million, the total collection of taxes was Rs 59.03 million.
The Hazara station collected revenue of Rs110.60 million in the month of April 2016, the customs duty collection was Rs 37.39 million, sales tax Rs .44 million, AIV Rs 19.60 millions, FED Rs 4.0 million including other provincial and federal taxes.
In month of March 2015-16 total collection of taxes was Rs118.97 million, the collection in month of February under value of Rs123.80 million, in month of January 2015-16 Rs144.22 million.
In financial year December 2015-16 taxes collection of Hazara was Rs94.54 million, in month of November Rs 122.14 million and in month of October Rs 143.51million.
The Hazara station collected Rs174.05 of taxes in month of September 2015-16 and collection of CD, ST, FED, AIT and other taxes were Rs167.03 million.
The sources of customs collectorate told Customs Today, that Hazara station collected Rs114.08 million in financial year in July, 2015-16.
