ISLAMABAD: Customs Appellate Tribunal Member Technical Ziauddin Wazir on Friday (10 Aug) reserved decision of cases submitted by M/s Degicel and M/s Kohinoor Chemical against Collectorate of Customs, Islamabad.
The bench heard cases filed by M/s Degicell & others, M/s Kohinoor Chemical, Mirza Muhammad Majid, M/s Fazal Razzaq, M/Ss Fazalur Rehman and Gul Rehman & others.
Mirza Muhammad Majid, M/s Fazal Razzaq, M/s Fazal Ur Rehman and Gul Rehman & others had made Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation, Islamabad as respondents in the cases.
These cases were filed by M/s Waseem Autos, M/s Nisar Traders, M/s Parts & Parts, M/s Chief Autos, M/s Aman Elahi, M/s Kohinoor Traders, M/s Saleem Silk Centre, M/s Five Star Trading, M/s Pakistan Royal Group and M/s Nayatel Private Limited. The appellants had filed cases against Directorate General of Intelligence and Investigation, Islamabad.
Meanwhile, another division bench of Customs Appellate Tribunal adjourned hearing of a complaint seeking release of seized 150 mobile phones with directives to parties to provided details of relating to the case on next date of hearing on Friday. Tribunal’s member, including Nair Khan and Ziauddin Wazir heard the reference and adjourned.
The appellant, through the case had challenged the decision in which tribunal had ordered to maintain seizure of mobile phones first confiscated by the customs authorities at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad.
