MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Enforcement & Compliance (E& C) Multan has directed to make frequent disinfection spray in the Customs House building to curb Corona Virus (COVID-19).
Deputy Collector Headquarter Amjad Aman has directed to adopt strict precautionary measures to contain COVID-19 in the building of Customs House and directed employees to wear face mask.
Multan Customs Collectorate has directed and assigned class IV staff to perform cleanliness and disinfection duties on regular basis at Collector’s Office, Additional Collector’s Office, all assistant Collector’s Offices and all branches of Customs House.
Naib Qasid Sarwar Masih, Sweeper Boota Masih, Mali Aqib Masih and Sweeper Haji Muhammad have been assigned special duties for the disinfection spray of the Customs House.
Multan Customs Collectorate Enforcement & Compliance (E&C) has assigned duties of Sepoy Ghulam Sarwar and Sepoy Muhammad Ali to perform screening duties at entrance point of Customs House. They will check temperature and sanitize the hands of every staff member and visitors by ensuring that each and every one of them wear face mask in the Customs House to avoid Corona spread (Covid-19).
It is also pertinent to mention here that Multan Customs has directed all employees to wear face mask during office hours and they are also directed to frequently use hand sanitizers. The general branch of Customs House must ensure provision of face masks and hand sanitizers to all officers and staff members.
Sources told that disinfection spray was sprinkled in the Customs House to prevent infection and control the spread of Corona virus in all branches.
Security Staff of Customs has been directed to ensure limited number of visitors enter in the building by advising them to contact concern officer and department through telephone for which list of official’s telephone numbers pasted at the entrance. Multan Customs House is making best arrangements to control the spread of Corona Virus also COVID-19.
