ISLAMABAD: Special Customs Court Rawalpindi reserved its verdict on release of passport to super model Ayyan Ali on November 23, 2015. Counsels of both sides already completed their arguments on the case.
Sources told Customs Today, that defense counsel of Ayyan Ali, Sardar Latif Khan Khosa told the court during case hearing that his client belongs to showbiz and modeling and because of her profession she have to go outside the country. He also argued before the court that Ayyan Ali already owned property outside Pakistan and she is the owner of a house in Dubai. He appealed to court to release her passport and grant permission to her to travel abroad.
While on the other side counsel of customs authorities Mohammad Saleem informed the court Ayyan Ali’s passport cannot be returned legally because it is a proof with customs authorities that she arrived airport to travel abroad. She strongly oppose the return of passport to Ayyan Ali. He also expressed his fears that if court will release her passport Ayyan Ali will definitely fly abroad and will not return to Pakistan again, and due to her absence case against her will not come to conclusion. After hearing the arguments of both parties court reserved its decision on the matter.
