KARACHI: The Model Custom Collectorate Appraisement-East has not only successfully achieved the assigned revenue target of Rs 662.1 million during April 2016, but also generated additional Rs 396 million by recovering customs duties.
Officials said that Customs Appraisement-East Collector Ashad Jawwad showed satisfaction over the revenue collections during the said month and vowed to boost additional customs duties during the current month.
According to the details, Appraisement-East showing tremendous efforts collected additional revenue of nearly millions rupees during the last two months March and April of 2016.
During the March, it achieved the given target of Rs 611.7 million and collected Rs 294 million by recovering additional custom duties.
