KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-index lost 144.59 points or 0.42 percent to reach 34133.83 points and volume of 163,564,020 shares on Tuesday.
In midday trading, the KSE remained in bearish mood as 100-index shed 144.59 points to reach 34133.83 points level.
On Monday, the KSE benchmark 100-index lost 248.28 points or 0.72 percent to reach 34278.42 points and volume of 104,762,090 shares.
Total volume traded in the market was 163,564,020 shares with 363 total traded companies out of which 170 were up 162 were down and 31 were unchanged.
Cement was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 49,311,700 shares. It was followed by Power Generation and Distribution with a total traded volume of 37,483,000 shares.
The three top traded companies were Dewan Cement with a volume of 27,358,500 and price per share of 14.85 (0.85), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 24,539,000 of price per share of 31.77 (0.89), Fauji Fert Bin with a volume 18,374,500 of price per share of 57.54 (2.12).
The top three advancers were Bata (Pak)with price per share 3449.00 (157.25), Murree Brewery with price per share of 1027.04 (0.04) and Sanofi-Aventis share of 648.00 (28.00).
The top three decliners were Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 1585.00 (-42.00), Siemens Pak. with price per share of 1148.91 (-28.34) and Pak Engineering per share of 135.00 (-6.24).
High and low were 34345.75 and 34129.88 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 163,564,020 shares.
