BEIJING: China imported 146.6 million metric tons of iron ore in the first two months this year, down 0.9% compared to a year earlier, the General Administration of Customs said here the other day.
The country also imported 11.1 million tons of soybeans in the period, a 3.9% rise on year, as well as 697,000 tons of copper and copper products, a 23.8% decline on year, customs said.
