KARACHI: Chief Collector Enforcement-South Muhammad Nazim Saleem left for Quetta for holding meetings with officers of Quetta Collectorate.
As per details, the Chief Collector Enforcement-South will also visit the check-posts of Pakistan Customs established at the entry and exit points of the Quetta city.
A source from FBR told Customs Today that the Chief Collector Enforcement-South will hold meetings regarding effective measures in order to eradicate smuggling from Chaman, Quetta border.
“The Chief Collector Enforcement-South has been visiting check-posts keeping the rising smuggling in mind, moreover, FBR higher authorities also asked Chief Collector to take strict actions to curb the menace of smuggling which has been costing national exchequer billions of rupees loss” he added.
Last week Chief Collector had visited MCC Gwadar with same intentions and held lengthy meeting with officers of MCC Gwadar.
Mr. Nazim Saleem has been paying extra attention towards the rising issues of smuggling after his appointment as Chief Collector Enforcement-South.
