ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) Enforcement Directorate launched a vigorous crackdown on encroachment in different areas to weed out the menace.
Different teams of the CDA Enforcement Directorate demolished illegal boundary wall and structures on the authority’s land in Mohallah Chajar of Bari Imam area. Similarly, the anti-encroachment teams also demolished an illegal under-construction shop in Muslim Colony and one boundary wall at New Nori Bagh, one room and boundary wall in Hansa Colony of Sector G-8, one illegally constructed room in the greenbelt of Sector G-9/3 near Bilal Masjid. The CDA Enforcement Directorate also initiated action against the illegally established animal sheds along Korang River and demolished it completely. The team also removed a steel garage in Tipu Market, Sector G-8.
On the other hand, the Enforcement Directorate removed encroachments from Haideri Market in Sector G-9/2, China Market F-6/1, Jinnah Super Market, Markaz F-7 and Sector F-11/1 and confiscated six laden trucks of good. In the meanwhile, Member Administration and Estate Amer Ali Ahmed has directed Deputy Director General, Enforcement to register an account of Enforcement Directorate on Facebook to seek the valuable suggestions and feedback from the general public to overcome the encroachments in the Federal Capital.
