KARACHI: Pakistan is hosting 10th addition of the Jhal Magsi Desert Challenge from December 19 in central Balochistan, which is one of the most arduous race-tracks in the world.
Nadir Magsi, the best driver in the history of the Jhal Magsi Desert Challenge, has said that Pakistan has a topographical edge over Dakar and it can host better race than Dakar Rally, which is being held in South America since 2009.
The Dakar Rally, which has been taking place since 1978, was previously held from Paris to Dakar in Senegla.
According to Race Director Rehan Qureshi, the rally can provide ten more years of non-stop action, excitement and thrill. The rally, which has been holding for the last nine years, has seen foreign rally-drivers like Abdo Feghali of Lebanon and Turkish woman driver Burcu Cetinkaya.
