ATHENS: Brussels Ahead of a summit with European Union leaders on Thursday, a meeting between eurozone finance ministers and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras stumbled on the issue of budget cuts and policy overhauls with Athens refusing to compromise despite a looming deadline next week.
Tsipras spent eight hours in a meeting with the heads of the European Commission, the International Monetary Fund, the European Central Bank and Eurozone finance ministers, but with no breakthrough.
The issue of pension reform remained a central dispute in the talks.
