Govt imposes Rs 5,000 air travel tax on pilgrims

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has withdrawn tax exemption on intending pilgrims and has imposed Rs 5,000 tax on each pilgrim.  All the field formations and airline have been directed to collect this tax from the pilgrims. Court awards death sentence to narcotics smuggler

ISLAMABAD: Special Court of Anti Narcotics has sentenced a smuggler to death and imposed a Rs 200,000 fine on him for smuggling of heroin and hashish.
