SYDNEY: Customer satisfaction with Australian banks has fallen for the first time in three years with ratings sliding for three of the nation’s four big banks, a report said on Friday.
According to DBM’s Consultants’ Business Financial Services Monitor, customer satisfaction dropped for the Commonwealth Bank, National Australia Bank and Westpac in March. The ANZ bank’s approval rose slightly higher.
The average satisfaction for the big four fell from 7.4 out of 10 to 7.3 during the month, the first overall decline in the group ‘s average in three years.
Westpac and the Commonwealth had the highest satisfaction score, at 7.5 out of 10, followed by ANZ and NAB, which both scored 7.1.
