LAHORE: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) at the Allama Iqbal International Airport has arrested an accused who attempted to smuggle 700 grammes of heroin to Saudi Arabia.
According to ANF sources, a person named Baz Khan was travelling to Saudi Arabia on a private airline on an Umrah visa. Officials of the Airport Security Force (ASF) seized the suspicion luggage and recovered 700 grammes of heroin worth million of rupees packed in a tin box.
After completing the legal process, the ASF handed over the accused to the ANF for further investigation, while the ANF registered a case under the anti-narcotics laws. The accused will be present before the ANF court on Monday.
