LAHORE: All Pakistan Paper Merchants Association (APPMA) has condemned massive increase in school/collage fees by the private school owners and urged Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to take notice of the situation.
According to a statement issued here, leader of APPMA Khawaja Nadeem Saeed Wayeen said that recent massive raise in school fees would give a big blow to the middle class and they would left with no other option but to discontinue education of their children.
He said that the fees raised at a time when parents were already bearing the brunt of inflation in the country. He said that there is no justification in massive increase in the school fees as owners of private schools are already getting huge amount.
Wayeen said that protest of parents and students would be continued until unjustified increase in fees is withdrawn.
