ANKARA: Apple has made a few price adjustments to its products and services, led by increased prices for the company’s products in Turkey and some European countries.
Apple Toolbox reported that Apple has increased the price of products like the Mac, iPhone, and iPod in Turkey, where the company’s products are already among the highest priced in the world.
With the new year, Turkish people will have to pay more for Apple products as the company increased prices by about 10 percent on Mac, iPhone, and iPod.
The new prices for the Apple products are as follows
Mac
MacBook Pro 13″ 2.5 GHz 2.999 TL > 3.299 TL, which is about 1411 USD
Retina MacBook Pro 13″ 2.6 GHz (128 GB) 3.449 TL > 3.799 TL, which is about 1625 USD
MacBook Air 11″ (128 GB) 2.499 TL > 2.699 TL, which is about 1154 USD

iPhone 5s 16 GB 1.949 TL > 2.049 TL, which is about 876 USD
The reason behind the new pricing is most likely the weakening of the Turkish lira in recent months as the company has been known to adjust the price of its products alongside fluctuating currency values.
