SIALKOT: Chairman All Pakistan Dry Ports Association Muhammad Haneef Khan has sought an early governmental patronage for country’s dry ports sector saying the government should announce a development package for the uplift of this sector, which has been lying neglected by the government since long.
He stated this while addressing an important meeting of the customs clearing agents held at the Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT) here.
Muhammad Haneef Khan, who is also the Chairman of Sialkot Dry Port Trust (SDPT), added that the dry ports have been playing a bridging role for ensuring easy access of Pakistani products to the international trade markets besides strengthening national exports as well.
He urged the Prime Minister, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, to ensure early amicable solution to the prolonged perturbing problems being faced by the dry ports in Pakistan as well.
