ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Force has recovered drugs worth Rs 10 million and arrested two suspects.
According to details, the ANF team raided a house in Rawalpindi and recovered 5 kilograms of heroin and 10 kilograms of hashish while arrested a woman with accused Zulqarnan during the raid. The sources added that the drugs having worth of Rs 10 million in market, while the accused used to smuggle these drugs in the Rawalpindi area.
On the other hand, the Anti-Narcotics Special Court has sentenced a smuggler to three years of jail and imposed Rs 15000 as fine in hashish smuggling case.
According to details ANF team has arrested Fayaz Ahmed and recovered 30 kilograms of hashish from his possession and registered a case of smuggling against him.
Anti Narcotics Special Court Judge Chaudhary Anwar Ahmed Khan has heard smuggling case against accused Fayaz Ahmed. During the investigations, proofs and witnesses were enough to prove his crime before the Court therefore the Court sentenced him to 3 years of jail and imposed Rs 15000 as fine in hashish smuggling. In case of failure in payment of fine, he may face more jail imprisonment as well.
