KARACHI: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has foiled smuggling attempts of drugs worth millions of rupees in different raids and arrested four suspects.
According to the details, the ANF, on secret information, raided a house in Liyari and arrested a suspect involved in selling drugs. The ANF team recovered 7.800 kilogram of opium, 2.500 kilogram of heroin and 200 kilogram of hashiah from him.
According to the source, on the information of the arrested culprit ANF officials raided the other area of Liyari. During the raid one more drug seller was nabbed and 41 kilograms of heroin was recovered from the arrested culprit.
On the other hand, the officers of ANF intercepted two passengers at Jinnah International Airport. During the search ANF officers recovered 2.1 kilograms of heroin from the inner sides of the passengers bag.
The arrested smugglers were travelling from Karachi to Jeddah. The ANF officers have registered the case against the four arrested culprits whereas the interrogation has been started.
The source also informed that on the information of the arrested culprits the ANF has started raiding different places of the city for the arrest of the culprits companions.
