KARACHI: All set for making amendments to Customs computerised system, WeBOC, as the office of the Directorate (WeBOC/One Customs) has sent letters to the Collectors of Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Appraisement-East; MCC-Appraisement-West and MCC-Port Muhammad Bin Qasim in order to call a joint meeting of all three collectorates at the office of the Directorate (WeBOC) on Oct 30 (Wednesday) for improving the WeBOC system.
The sources in Directorate (WeBOC/One Customs) confirmed Customs Today that the glitches (Annex-I), loose controls (Annex-II), facilitative measures (Annex-III) and non-implementable changes requests (Annex-IV) would be discussed in the meeting on Wednesday.
When contacted All Pakistan Customs Agents Association Senior Vice President Arshad Jamal, he said that none of the WeBOC high officials has yet contacted Customs agents’ body for bringing amendments in the automated system of Customs.
