Alishan Pakistan a step to enhance trade ties with India: Munir

ISLAMABAD: The second edition of lifestyle exhibition Alishan Pakistan organised by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is set to start in New Delhi from Thursday.
The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Chief Executive SM Munir, prior to his departure to India, said that over 800 participants from Pakistan were attending the event. The exhibition will showcase top quality products of Pakistani textiles, including high-end designer wear, while various furniture houses will also exhibit and market their products.
Munir said that the expo was an initiative to further build on the efforts of the two governments to normalise trade ties with India.
“With a trade potential of billions of dollars between the two countries, the event will offer a unique opportunity to the Indian trade community to interact with their Pakistani counterparts and own the best quality products.”
