KABUL: The Afghanistan Civil Aviation Authority (ACAA) on Monday said its revenue collected this solar year had increased by 11 percent compared the previous year’s returns.
The authority said in a statement that the revenue stood at 3.571 billion afghanis so far, including 2.31 billion afs coming in taxes on international flights crossing Afghanistan.
It said 910 million afs were generated from executive affairs and 451 million from land rents and use of its properties.
The statement said hundreds of millions of afghanis were collected from other services including the issuance of licenses and certifications.
Figures from the Ministry of Finance show the national revenue collected in 1394 at 120.75 billion afghanis, suggesting a 21 percent increase over 1393.
