BUDAPEST: Twenty Hungarian companies from the foodstuffs, renewable energy, water management, porcelain and crystal sectors showcased in Amman ,the Jordanian capital, in a two-day event organized by the Hungarian National Trading House (MNKH), Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
The exhibition was set up by the Hungarian government in order to find new opportunities for Hungarian companies on foreign markets. Jordanians at the event were especially interested in high-quality staples, such as flour, semolina, sunflower oil and tomato paste, said Hungaryʼs honourary consul in the country Zaid Naffa.
According to data by Hungaryʼs Central Statistics Office (KSH), bilateral trade between Hungary and Jordan reached HUF 439 mln in 2014, data from Hungaryʼs Central Statistics Office (KSH) show.
